Okay, I need your opinions.......

Okay, so all of you know that I like to write. Or you know now. Anyway, I've had this story saved in my computer for awhile. I go back to it sometimes when I read dystopians, but because I'm always reading or doing homework, I don't write constantly. But I do try to write when I feel like it. And when an idea comes to my head. So, this is the prologue to my dystopian book called Butterflies or Colorless. Not entirely sure on the title. Anyway, I want your opinions. Comments comments comments. Please. I've asked two of my friends, and they really like it. Soo........what about you guys? Here you have it:

In  2010 the divorce rate was fifty percent.
In 2185, the number has risen to ninety-nine percent.
No, I’m not lying. If I was, I would have said, “Hey, did you know that the divorce rate has gone up to like, ninety-nine percent? I know right? Guess what? I’m kidding! It’s only sixty!”
If only I was.
In my world, there are three types of people.
Fakers: People who pretend to be in love to make their friends envious of what they have when really they hate each other.
Envyes: Single people who put on a happy face but are really jealous of those who fake having it.
And the Survivors, or the Mistakes (as called by adults): kids who watch their parents fight constantly behind closed doors or watch as their parents ignore them and have to fend for themselves. Making sure they have clothes on their backs, food in their stomach, and get at least a high school diploma. Although much of this rarely happens, since most adults don’t want children anymore.
I’m one of the Survivors. In all my sixteen years, I don’t remember when either of my parents was there for me. They weren’t there to help me study for my first spelling test. When I started to ride a bike and I fell and scraped my knee. I taught myself how to cook. I worked down at the local animal shelter since I was seven. I made sure the bills were paid too, since neither of them thought about paying them.
The only time when my parents actually paid attention to me was when they fought for custody of me when I was ten. They showered me in presents, trying to bribe me with gifts to convince me to live with one or the other just so one of them could rub it in. Mom won, and since she doesn’t have a problem, I don’t have to worry about her as much. (One of the reasons Mom and Dad divorced was because of Dad’s drinking problem. He was always complaining about us not having money. Mom would yell at him and say that all the money went to his ‘habit’ and all the medical bills that built up over the years because Dad couldn’t stay sober enough to drive home safely.)
Lovely isn’t it?
Wait, I take it back. There are four types of people. The last ones are the Lovers. Lovers were the lucky ones. The ones who have it all. The fame, the luxuries, the money, the expensive cars, etc. The Butterflies.
They’re the one percent.
In reality, no one has really seen a Lover since it’s rare to see them at all. Most of the time, it’s just Fakers pretending to be in love. Lovers are just a myth. A figment of our imagination. Hope in a time of hate. Some people say that love was never real; it was just people in lust or were very passionate about each other. But they’re wrong.
I’ve seen it.
It was two years ago. My parents were going at it again, and this time it involved throwing chairs at each other. It was over dad’s alimony check. (He claimed it was too small when really……..well, you know the rest.)
I decided to take a walk in the park. One, to get away from my parents, and two, so I didn’t get hit by a chair. I was lucky it was fall. No one dares to go near the park, let alone in it. In the fall, the temperature drops down to near freezing, and the wind that blows through the trees makes it even colder, and the eerie sounds that whisper through the branches makes everyone nervous. Most people have a winter jacket, since we live in north Oregon, but none want to take the time to put it on and take a walk in near freezing weather.
Fortunately for me, that day was nice and warm. The park was empty, but only of people. The birds were out and singing. I saw a few squirrels climbing trees with their cheeks stuffed with nuts. I think I saw a red fox too, but I’m not sure. It could have been a dog.
As I was nearing the Callaleana Fountain, I heard a strange laugh. It wasn’t a laugh like the ones I hear when Mom is laughing at other people’s pain on TV, or the ones I hear when kids laugh at something funny. No, this laugh was different. It was short, soft, and girly. In the book Love: Past and Present, it says (or from what I’ve read online) it’s called a “giggle: a small soft girly laugh that a female produces when they are happy or are in the presence of a male or other females.”
I have never heard one come out of any of the girls in my school. I’ve never heard one period. Until now. I took small baby steps towards the fountain, quiet as a mouse. The breath in my lungs stilled. As I got closer, it was like the world became still. Like someone pressed a pause button on the world. It was so quiet that I thought my heart was the loudest thing in the park.
Then I saw them.
She had golden-reddish hair that flowed down her back in tangles. Her whole face was a glow with a smile. She wore a tattered shirt, holes were frosted all over. Her pants matched but with a patch of random cloth on her left thigh. She had no shoes and her feet were covered in mud and soot, but the look on her face told me that she didn’t care.
He didn’t care either. His face reflected hers. But unlike her, his light brown hair was combed back. He was wearing a black suit that could have paid five bills on my house. His shoes, maybe seven. And they weren’t the cheap knock-off leather shoes; they were the real deal. They were polished so well that I had to squint because the sun reflected off of them.
In his hands were her hands.
I have only seen “true love” portrayed in the old classic films I have hidden under my bed. The Phantom of the Opera, Letters to Juliet, Romeo and Juliet, Beauty and the Beast. There’s a lot. But none could compare to what was in front of my face.
At one point, the man leaned over and whispered something in the woman’s ear and she giggled again. He said something again and it turned into a full fledge laugh. Soon he started laughing.
I knew that only one thing could explain why they were acting like they were. One thing that could explain why an upper classman was holding hands with a woman who appeared to be homeless.
Love.
For years I believed that love was just an old tale mothers told their kids just so they would go to sleep. It was a myth that History teachers taught us ‘for our own good. So we know that it was never real.’ But now I know that it’s real. And it’s beautiful.
The woman’s face grew sad, and I knew that their moment was over. The man put his hand on her cheek and gave her an apologetic smile. Then he did something I only saw in movies.
He gave her a kiss.
Sure, people still kiss today, but usually with lust in their blood. Their kisses are full of desperation or passion, using their tongues to probe the insides of each other’s mouth. It’s disgusting to see people to do it. But this kiss, it was something different. He just touched his lips to hers, and held them there for a few seconds. Then he kissed her again on the cheek and stood. She did the same. They hugged each other.
And then they were gone.

I never saw them again. Every day I went to the park and looked for them at the same time, the same place. I even became brave enough to put a note there to see if one of them would write me back. But no. Nothing but the note would be there day after day. Eventually I threw it away. But my belief in love didn’t change.

That day changed my life. I always thought I was going to be like all the other adults in this world. Getting married and divorcing a few years later and having kids I wouldn’t care two wits about. But now, I want to get married, but to someone who loves me. Someone who will look at me like the man did that woman.

Too bad love is one of the most dangerous things to be in.

Review: Obsidian

WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS

Starting over sucks.
When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I'd pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring.... until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.
And then he opened his mouth.
Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something...unexpected happens.
The hot alien living next door marks me.
You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon's touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I'm getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.
If I don't kill him first, that is.

Review:

When I first hear about this book, I had my reserves about it. It didnt' sound interesting, and the Half-Blood series didn't sound interesting either. It was like Twilight, but aliens. But then, this book blew up the entire blogovsphere, and then I read more about it, and when I learned that I won it, I screamed. This book....wow..... a lot of words could describe it, but just wow. If you havent' read this yet, go out and get your hands on a copy soon. Five star right here.

Plot: So, Katy, our main character, moves next door to Daemon and his sister, Dee, and because Dee wants to be friends, she gets mixed up in to all of their alien mojo. Soon, she gets this trace accidently put on her by Daemon when he saved her life. Now the Arum, evil aliens, are trying to find them and are close to finding Daemon and the rest of the Luxen in the area. They have to get the trace off of her before they kill every Luxen and her.

So, I love the idea of these aliens. Can control light, are made of light, and move other things around. This is the first alien book I've read, and I was very happy it was. And instead of the Government not knowing about them, they pay for everything they do! Top secret. And since it was good vs. evil in this book, there had to be the evil ones, the Arum. Oh, and after watching a lot of sci-fi crap for years with my dad, it was nice to read about a hot alien. :D Oh, and I can't tell you how many times the gang got close to being safe, but then somehow it got screwed up. Twists and turns and all their glory. With it came angry, frustration, romance, and some funny arguments that I loved to reread. Yes, this book will make you laugh. Daemon mostly.

The only problem I had with this book is that it kinda reminded me of Twilight. New girl in town; falls for the wrong guy, who is a paranormal, supernatural being; sister who tries to be social with others; kinda overprotective of her; being with her endangers her and everyone around her....Blah blah blah. The only difference is that their love isn't that crappy insta-love. Sure, they admit that they like each other, but they aren't together. Daemon tries to tell her he wants to be with her and that the bond isn't why. Yeah....but I still loved the book.

Characters: The characters are hilarious. All of us know Daemon, the arrogant, hot, and somewhat of a jerk, is, well, hot. Dee is very up beat, wanting a normal friend for once. She hates that they have to hide, but they know it's for the better. But Katy, now Katy, she has to be one of my favorite characters in YA ever. Why?
Katy is a book blogger just like me and everyone out there. She loves books. She's also determined and strong and doesn't take crap from Daemon, no matter what he does. She is me as a fictional character. I honestly wish I was her. Sure, I don't want her fried computer, but I do want her life. I already have the small town, but I would love to live next to aliens (though sometimes I think I do). She's hilarious, mostly when she's mad at Daemon. The comedy between them never ended.

Romance: Katy and Daemon are attracted to each other. They can't be together because of the whole alien thing and the Arum. There was a lot of tension, teasing, and arguments between these two that it wasn't hard to hope that they get together in the end. And their scenes together when they weren't killing each other, one can only wish that those moments happened to them.

Ending: It was a happy one. Except the little twist that happened to Katy. Now, I can't wait for Onyx. And I got a sneak peek of it in the back of this book. I loved the first two chapters.

Other thing I want to point out: The scenes in Daemon's POV, I LOVED IT!! Mostly Chapter 8 and 28. They were so sweet. And if you go to Goodreads to the list where is list all the books in the Lux series, you can find Chapter 26, the hot and steamy scene, in his POV. Link is right here.

Future: Onyx is coming out this August!

Quotes:

"'I like to watch you blush.' His voice barely above a murmur as his thumb traced circles on my cheek." pg. 75

Rating, Cover, & Ending:

I debated on whether or not to give The Big Kahuna Award to this book, but the Twilight thing is kinda bring the book down for me, so they just get five shells. But it's still a favorite of mine. :D

And Daemon on the cover, yeah, who wouldn't want to own that piece of hunk.
Here's the other cover.

*I won this book. No review necessary.

Review: For Darkness Shows the Stars

WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS

It's been several generations since a genetic experiment gone wrong caused the Reduction, decimating humanity and giving rise to a Luddite nobility who outlawed most technology.

Elliot North has always known her place in this world. Four years ago Elliot refused to run away with her childhood sweetheart, the servant Kai, choosing duty to her family's estate over love. Since then the world has changed: a new class of Post-Reductionists is jumpstarting the wheel of progress, and Elliot's estate is foundering, forcing her to rent land to the mysterious Cloud Fleet, a group of shipbuilders that includes renowned explorer Captain Malakai Wentforth--an almost unrecognizable Kai. And while Elliot wonders if this could be their second chance, Kai seems determined to show Elliot exactly what she gave up when she let him go.

But Elliot soon discovers her old friend carries a secret--one that could change their society . . . or bring it to its knees. And again, she's faced with a choice: cling to what she's been raised to believe, or cast her lot with the only boy she's ever loved, even if she's lost him forever.

Inspired by Jane Austen's "Persuasion", "For Darkness Shows the Stars" is a breathtaking romance about opening your mind to the future and your heart to the one person you know can break it.

Review:

I have never read Persuasion by Jane Austen. Honestly, her literary works sound boring. But when I read For Darkness Shows the Stars, I believe I would like Persuasion; for I LOVED this book. I was expecting the big secret to be something about overthrowing the government, but no. How do I describe it.......it was like a contemporary novel set in the future. It had its moments when it was sweet, frustrating, sad, and happy. For Darkness Shows the Stars is a beautifully written book based off a classic. I was kinda sad to finish it.

Plot: Despite it being set in the future, and it sounding like there's a rebellion coming, there really isn't any big fight or overthrowing of the government in the book. It talks about it, but not much. Anyway, Elliot, our main character, is a young girl trying to make sure her stays above ground while her father and sister do nothing much to make sure the farm runs smoothly. Then Kai, her ex-best friend of a long ago who ran away and hates her still for not coming with her, comes back with the rest of his crew to build a ship on the Boatwright's (her grandfather's) estate. Well, while she tries to make sure the farm gets through the winter, she has to deal with Kai and his angry towards her.

In a way, For Darkness Shows the Stars is a contemporary novel. Elliot was constantly fighting her father and sister and herself at some points to make sure the farm survived, and with Kai and his coldness toward her. Elliot herself, despite the fact that her family takes her for granted, stays strong and defies what she's learned and tries to save the farm in a way that could get her killed. In the events of twists and turns, there weren't much, but a lot of obstacles that Elliot had to face to get to the end; it was kinda like the Game of Life. You have to battle obstacles and other problems to make it to the top.

And one cute thing I loved about this book was the way we got a glimpse into Kai's and Elliot's past. In the past, they mostly talked through letters, and we got to read them. At first I was confused at what I was reading. Eight Years Ago? What's that all about? But then I realized that was how many years ago the letter was written in reflection to the present and how both turned out. It was an interesting way to view flashbacks. A way that was very clever and unique.

Characters:

Elliot: Strong. Determined. Sensitive. Very caring. All this is Elliot. When she choose her home over leaving with Kai and his love, she didn't do it because she was rich and he wasn't. She did it for a very important reason; for if she did leave, most of everyone on that farm would have been dead or would have left, leaving her family to ruin. And when Andromeda, on of the Captains next to Kai, accuses her of the things Kai has said to her Posts, she stands up for herself and says that she [Andromeda] can hate her all she wants, but not her Posts. Same for Kai. Her Posts (workers) come before her. I loved that about her. And when she finally speaks her mind after learning Kai's terrible secret (along with the entire crew's secret), she tells him that she won't tell, but then says she's not sorry anymore, making Kai think differently, but making her speak her mind more about things.

Kai: Stubborn, a guy, incredible strong, fast, and able to do things other humans wouldn't. Also an ass for most of the book. Kai believes Elliot didn't come with him because he thought she thought she was above him. This makes him an ass for most of the book. Then when he finds out that she use to be sorry she didn't go with him, and when he finally realizes why she stayed, he calms down and tries to be her friend, or at least, tries not to make her mad anymore. At points in the book I wanted to shake him. He has to be one of the meanest heroes ever. The way he treated Elliot made me dislike him a lot, even though I read his prequel. But in the end, he won me over.

The rest of the characters were well.....well written. Elliot's family were spoiled and greedy, wanting the best in life. The Posts were caring and strong and stubborn, and willing to stay behind only for Elliot. And the Fleet, they were nice. Donovan was the sweetest.

Romance: Kai is an idiot. The romance of the book was just mostly tension between Kai and Elliot. And it didn't help that Kai was paying attention to Olivia, Elliot's 14 year old neighbor. Later on in the book, when Elliot revealed that she used to be sorry she didnt' go with him, we see Kai change and try to talk to Elliot, even if he still pays a bit more attention to Olivia, which then ends eventually. But he waited until the last moment to finally tell Elliot how he felt, and when he was about to leave. Even though it's romantic, he's still an idiot. Elliot just felt hurt and confused and jealous and indifferent thoughtout the whole thing. An accidental kiss would have been nice.

Ending: And since it was kinda like a contemporary novel, I had visions of different versions where either Elliot won or lost. When she lost, she took her life or worked herself to death (no, I'm sucicidal). When she won, she did it without the help of Kai or anyone else but her friends. The ending of the book was so much better than what I could have thought of.

Future: not sure. Stand-alone maybe?

Quotes:

"They met . They touched. And then she was in his arms, again and at last." pg. 395

Rating
Yes. It's the Big Kahuna Award. I loved it that much.

Cover & Ending:

Not sure how I feel about the girl's makeup, but the rest is beautiful.

*I donated money to get this book. And then paid for shipping

Review: The Infernal Devices: Clockwork Prince

WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS

Goodreads:
In the magical underworld of Victorian London, Tessa Gray has at last found safety with the Shadowhunters. But that safety proves fleeting when rogue forces in the Clave plot to see her protector, Charlotte, replaced as head of the Institute. If Charlotte loses her position, Tessa will be out on the street and easy prey for the mysterious Magister, who wants to use Tessa's powers for his own dark ends.

With the help of the handsome, self-destructive Will and the fiercely devoted Jem, Tessa discovers that the Magister's war on the Shadowhunters is deeply personal. He blames them for a long-ago tragedy that shattered his life. To unravel the secrets of the past, the trio journeys from mist-shrouded Yorkshire to a manor house that holds untold horrors, from the slums of London to an enchanted ballroom where Tessa discovers that the truth of her parentage is more sinister than she had imagined. When they encounter a clockwork demon bearing a warning for Will, they realize that the Magister himself knows their every move and that one of their own has betrayed them.

Tessa finds her heart drawn more and more to Jem, though her longing for Will, despite his dark moods, continues to unsettle her. But something is changing in Will; the wall he has built around himself is crumbling. Could finding the Magister free Will from his secrets and give Tessa the answers about who she is and what she was born to do?

As their dangerous search for the Magister and the truth leads the friends into peril, Tessa learns that when love and lies are mixed, they can corrupt even the purest heart.

Review:

Cassandra Clare does it again folks! Action, drama, and love like never before in Clockwork Prince, Clare had me scream and laughing and excited through the whole thing. Mostly thrilled actually. There were so many scenes where the buildup to the climax was so tense, I was trying not to scream or skip forward to see what happens. And I will admitt, I did skip ahead just to sneak a peak, and I found a page where I felt so sorry for Will and fell in love with him that I nearly cried. Sorry Jem, but I'm Team Will. You'll see what I'm talking about in the Quotes.

Plot: So the Magister, Mortmain, is still out on the lose, and Benedict Lightwood has challenged Charlotte for control over the London Institue. Charlotte has two weeks to find Mortmain so she can keep control of the Institue. And while she does this, both of Mr. Dickhead's sons, Gideon and Gabriel, are to train both Tessa and Sophie, for they both are the only ones of the London Institue's staff/permanent guest that aren't trained to defend themselves. With all of this going on, there's a spy or two, parabatai issues, and a love triangle that makes you want to strangle Will and marry Jem. *Sigh.

A lot went on in this book, you can see, but unlike some of her Mortal Instruments books, it's not so overwhelming, it just keeps it going and suspenseful. There were points that I thought were kinda stupid until later on that they made a contribution somehow.

And now for the spy thing. And if you read the beginning paragraph, about Mr. Dickhead's sons being at the Institue, then you guessed right, they are spies, except for surprisingly Gideon. In the book, Gideon turned around to surprise you and rebel against his father, for he's found out the truth about what has happened to his father and why his mother killed herself. Plus what his father is actually dealing in. (Note: he's dealing with Mortmain) This was a subplot, of course, but one that helped Charlotte win the Institue, even if it was cheating/blackmail. Gideon has to be on the more likeable characters in the Infernal Devices. Gabriel, because of what happened between Will and his sister and Will breaking his arm, he's okay, but a pain. But I also thought Will was an ass for doing that to their sister.

Now, the real spy. In the beginning, I had my suspicions, and turns out I was right. Smart, but stupid spy. And though if this spy was right of mind, they probably wouldn't have done it, but because this spy was blinded by their own selfishness and Mortmain's evilness, they were sucked into his evil plot and currently rioting in the Silent City. Personally, I thought this spy was stupid, but the way Clare hinted who it was before we actually found out who it was was through Sophie and Tessa, mostly Sophie, since she was in and out of this spy's room everyday. And I kinda hope Sophie goes through the Ascension. She has the strength and the courage and the kickass-ness of a Shadowhunter. Plus, what she did to the spy was hilarious.

Characters: Of course, we have all of the main characters who havent' really changed, just gotten more braver and more sure of themselves as they try to fight off evil. But it's Charlotte and Henry and Sophie the really changed. Sophie, if you read in the last paragraph, has grown to be a risk taker, learning things she shouldn't, doing things she shouldn't, and not being the terrified little servant girl from the first book. Charlotte and Henry you all know dont' have the best relationship. Mosth thought Charlotte married Henry to have control over the Institue, and others thought Henry married her only because he was paid to because her father believed no one would marry her because of head-strong attitude. But no. There were a lot of rough patches between these two, sometimes I believe more than Tessa, Will, and Jem because they were actually married and Henry does nothing to help run the Institue but try to create inventions he believes will work. But later, Clare changes it around to where their relationship changes them as people and finally to start talking more. They changed more than anyone.

Now, why not Tessa or Will or Jem? Well, Clary and Tessa are alike, both are loyal to those who they love and are head-strong and determined to help. And both don't take crap from Will/Jace. Nothing changes about Tessa. And Will is just Will, except he's desparate to get rid of something he believes he has, and this little subplot had me rooting for him the entire way, even if all his work backfires in his face. Jem, well, Jem becomes more stronger, more sure of himself. At one point though, I thought he was going to kill himself because he believes he has nothing to live for becaues he's dying, but turning around, he finds his light. That's what I love about Jem.

Romance: Tessa, Will, Jem. If you looked on Wikipedia, then you know what happens between these three. There was a lot of tension between Tessa and Will, and Tessa did get closer to Jem. But in the end, I was heartbroken and screaming and crying. But as much as I feel what happened shouldn't of had, Clare did make me see that doing what Tessa/Will wanted to do would have hurt Jem, then it wasn't worth making him feel more horrible.

Now, you all know Charlotte and Henry start over, in a way, and they are on good terms, and that the spy was stupid and thought love could get him/her through it all, but in the end, his/her lover didn't really love him/her, just using him/her for information. How crappy is that? I'm happy the lover died. Magnus, of course, comes back and helps Will with his problem, but as all of you who have read City of Fallen Angels, he finds out the bitch Camille cheats on him, and he leaves her. Now, it doesn't indicate that he actually starts a relationship with Woolsey Scott, but from CoFA, then yes, we do know he does. Magnus and Alec are much better. But there's a surprising relationship that actually forbidden by Laws that had me shouting for joy. I hope it works out in the end. (Hint: reread the fifth paragraph and guess.)

Ending: First, it was great. It started with a lot of happy endings, with Charlotte keeping the Institue and some other happy secrets coming out, but then BAM! Clare hits us with a bomb that we know won't go over well with Will and his family. Hopefully, the next book will pick up right where this one left off.

One thing I forgot to point out eariler though is how the title fits into all of this. On the cover, it's Jem. Yeah, he doesn't have anything to do with the title, he's just a pretty picture (better than Will's). But then, later on, Clare makes a reference to Mortmain's past (which is the cause of all of this mess) that makes the title make sense.

Oh, and we don't learn much about the Clockwork Angel except that when Tessa's in trouble, it somehow comes alive, and that Nate wants her to wear it at all times. That's it. Wish there was more.

And you know how Will's afraid of ducks? (Or, you will.) Well, as a geek, I wanted to know what the fear of ducks was, and it's orinthophobia (sounds more like the fear of the orthodontics.) That or this one: Anatidaephobia — fear that somewhere, somehow, a duck is watching you (fictional, from a Gary Larson cartoon published in The Far Side Gallery, 4). Taken from Yahoo UK & Ireland Answers. It's hilarious.

Future: DAMN IT! THE CLOCKWORK PRINCESS DOESN'T COME OUT UNTIL NEXT YEAR!!!

Quotes:

Magnus and Will
"'....Every day dawns blacker and blacker, and I will lose her forever if you---'
"'Lose her?' Magnus's mind fastened on teh word; he sat up straight, narrowing his eyes. 'This is about Tessa. I knew it was.'
"Will flushed, a wash of color across the pallor of his face. 'Not just her.'
"'But you love her.'
"Will stared at him. 'Of course I do,' he said finally. 'I had come to think I would never love anyone, but I love her.'" pg. 140

Magnus
"Will is right," said Magnus. "Mabas, you are a blue-skinned bastard. Burn and die!" pg. 411. This made me laugh.

And the quote you have been waiting for that nearly caused me to cry! Will!
"You see it, don't you, James? Without Tessa there is nothing for me--no joy, no light, no life. If you loved me, you would let me have her. You can't love her as I do. No one could. If you are truly my brother, you would do this for me." pg. 479

Rating, Cover, & Ending (which was a happy/shocking one)

I love Jem on the cover. At first I thought it was Will, but then I see that the man has lighter hair than what Wil would've had. And I know now that Will's on the Clockwork Angel, and that's not the most flattering picture of him.

*Bought this from Target. Collector's Edition with Will's Letter to his parents in the back.
